New upcoming projects in Germany and Spain, Theater, Film (as you know: it's forbidden to mention subject, titles or content, especially before signing the contracts!) and something completely new: teaching! People seem to realize that I'm finally old enough to do that...

And lately:

just completed script doctoring and giving final cutting advise for a feature film, shot in Valencia/Spain...

"La larga noche de la imaginación"

This film is finished now and travelling the Festivals. It has already won some awards: best film at the MEDff of Siracusa (Italy) and best full length feature film and best film of the month at the 12 Months FF in Cluj (Romania).

The French version of  "LES RESISTANTS" a full length feature script is now finished and Sam Sebastian is rewriting the Spanish version for a possible production in Spain. A translation in to English is underway...

"Fighting with a first draft of a wonderful story taking place right here in the mountains where I am settled - at least for the moment..."

Well, that fight is over and now starts the second round with the second draft, usually followed by the third, then the forth and so on...

And as I mentioned last Christmas that settlement is over:  we moved to the beautiful Swiss border town Basel, to be a bit nearer to where things are happening...

This also is already history again,

or as they say in Germany: Schnee von gestern (snow from yesterday) because we just moved again: to French speaking Jura mountain town La Chaux-de-Fonds, birthplace of the Swiss watch industry, of architect Le Corbusier and a certain Louis Chevrolet (yes, yes... the founder of this rather well known automobile brand) and not far away from the valley where the famous "Fée verte", the Absinthe, was invented and then produced by the Pernod family distillery, which, once this extra strong liquor became forbidden in Switzerland, moved the manufacturing to the nearby French town Pontarlier and when the Germans came further south to Marseille, where they started to call their booze Pastis...

By the way: the Jura mountain chain on the western boarder of Switzerland with France is what gave the name to the Jurassic period of our planets history - but don't be mistaken; also I'm already quite old, I'm not yet feeling like a Dinosaur!

Now,  if you want to know why we moved again, I'll tell you next time we meet, OK?

AUTUMN 2019:

Just finished the English version of "LES RESISTANTS"  and I'm still convinced that it could be an outstanding film, especially considering all the rubbish that runs around the screens and streaming platforms worldwide...

October: shooting a little role in the new film "DRACHENTÖTER" of Swiss director-producer Peter Luisi...

November: a public reading of a new play by Samuel Sebastian "EN CASA DEL PADRE" based on various text of Franz Kafka at the Centro Sefarad in Madrid...

Planning a reduced version of "KING LEAR", not exactly the one that old William wrote, but based on his eternal masterpiece.

.

And again apart of that:

still going strong... (at least for somebody of my age and nowadays without any Scotch!)
